From December 16th-19th, 2009 I am invited by Royal Academy of Cambodia to present my paper titled "Destiny of the Khmer Language within the Thai Context: Will The Khmer Surin Speak Khmer Tomorrow?" I would like to thanks to RAC for inviting me to present my experiences and my works to protect Khmer culture in Surin from extinction. Yes, it is a hard work and it is not supposed to be one man's show but it is regret that most of the Khmer Surins who now working in the universities are all ready bought and they don't think that they are Khmer anymore. From Silpakorn University until Ubonratchathani University, they are soulless people.
I would like to thank to many people at the conference and I would also thanks to all the audiences and Khmer people who understand my cause. I always be proud of being a Khmer although now I am Thai citizen but my cultural citizenship is always be a Khmer and it doesn't change no matter what.
I always feel warm and like home when coming to Kampuchea, the craddle of the Khmer civilization, and especially at Angkor--the glorious land of the Khmer people.
